Operations Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum plus annual performance bonus, company car or car allowance and pension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Runcorn, WA7 4DS

What you'll be doing;

Supporting the wood recycling operations at the Runcorn and Berkswell sites to ensure the waste treatment facility is operating to standards required by the site permit and development consent order

Actively supporting and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Company’s Management Systems.

As the Operations Manager, you will manage and support all Veolia employees in the safe operation of the Wood recycling Operations including the controlling and managing of waste inputs.

Responsible for the day to day running of the site, health and safety, working towards the site P&L objectives and customer relations

Ensuring service delivery, in line with customer expectations.

Engaging with interested stakeholders including the wider Veolia Senior Management team, EA, local community and regulators.
What we're looking for;
-
Experienced people manager and experience of managing change and ability to inspire a team.

Previous experience of wood treatment plant and equipment and an understanding of other associated plant and vehicles that may be used on site.

Previous operational and administrative experience gained in a similar industry.

CoTC for Non-Hazardous Treatment.

Basic safety qualification.

An understanding of Environmental legislation and experience of dealing with the EA.

Good communication skills communicating with people of all levels.

Ability to organise resources and follow through objectives.

Working with a quality management system e.g. ISO.

Current driving licence.
