Operations and Risk Specialist – UK Wide

Mercer is seeking a passionate and driven individual to drive operational risk activities and projects across all of Wealth. In this pivitol role, you will report directly to the Wealth Risk Leader and collaborate closely with with Wealth Leadership and the Delivery Team. We will count on you to:

  • To lead and support the creation, delivery, and management of different initiatives and projects that will shape the future of our organisation

  • You will oversee the implementation of operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation

  • Network and Communicate to maintain a robust network of colleagues to support the delivery of key initiatives and facilitate effective communication of related matters across Wealth

  • Collaborate and work closely with key functions and leadership (e.g. Wealth Leadership Team, Legal, Compliance, Risk Committees) to foster a culture aligned with The Greater Good

  • Regularly review and assess the design and effectiveness of key quality controls in the business

  • You will Lead the liaison with MMC Internal Audits, Compliance Monitoring teams and external KPI’s

What you need to have: 

  • Excellent academics

  • Knowledge of internal professionalism requirements and best practice within Financial Services

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Effective written and verbal Communication
