Operations Analyst, Tech Enablement & Execution

Supporting Governance, Operational Efficiency, and Organisational Clarity

 

The Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Tech Enablement and Execution function. This is a hands-on role designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn how a technology organisation operates and delivers.

Working directly with senior leaders, the Operations Analyst helps coordinate governance routines, maintain visibility of priorities, and ensure decisions, actions, and communications are followed through effectively. The role offers broad exposure across technology delivery, governance, finance, and leadership operations, making it ideal for someone who wants to build a strong foundation for a future career in technology or operational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Technology Enablement & Operational Support

  • Coordinate and track cross-functional activities spanning portfolio management, SDLC governance, and release coordination.
  • Partner with the SDLC and Resource Management Lead to maintain accurate delivery and resource data, focusing on coordination, reporting, and issue tracking.
  • Support governance and leadership forums by preparing agendas, capturing outcomes, and ensuring agreed actions are completed.
  • Maintain visibility of key initiatives, surfacing dependencies and risks to enable timely decisions.

Budget & Administration

  • Support preparation and coordination of the technology budget, including basic reporting and variance tracking.
  • Organise and support operational routines such as quarterly business reviews, leadership meetings, and governance forums.
  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, and documentation to ensure information is current and accessible

Governance & Change Coordination

  • Support governance practices by helping prepare materials, meeting packs, and minutes for key forums.
  • Collaborate with PMO, SDLC, and Release Management teams to align schedules and governance checkpoints.
  • Help ensure operational standards and quality checks are consistently applied across change and delivery activities.
  • Support compliance tracking and documentation for SOC, ITGC, and audit requirements.

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Draft, format, and distribute internal communications, leadership updates, and summaries.
  • Help maintain consistency of templates, shared repositories, and presentation materials for the CIO and leadership team.
  • Support meeting preparation and follow-up by ensuring briefings and action lists are clear and complete.

Leadership Support & Coordination

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Head of Tech Enablement and Execution and the wider leadership team.
  • Step in to coordinate activities across teams during busy periods, ensuring momentum and follow-through.
  • Act as a central coordination point between delivery teams, governance bodies, and leadership priorities.
