OpenStack Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Openstack Engineer to join our team of highly skilled engineers across Boston
& London.
You would be working in a friendly and social team that is motivated to solve complex problems and design
interesting solutions. You would have the chance to take a part in transforming our infrastructure working with
modern open-source solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing OpenStack.
In this role you will:
• Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack private clouds.
• Troubleshoot and optimize OpenStack environments.
• Implement and maintain automation tools for cloud provisioning and management.
• Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenStack with other services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Stay up to date with new developments in the cloud computing field.
Requirements
• OpenStack experience on premise
• Ansible Kolla experience
• Linux administration experience.
• Proficient with Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with managing and scaling hypervisor technologies at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with enterprise hardware in the datacenter.
• Participate in an on-call support rota.
Nice to have:
• Certifications in OpenStack, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field .
• Experience with Grafana & Prometheus
