About the opportunity: At Everton Football Club, we are currently embarking on one of the most significant and exciting chapters in our history.  

 

As we prepare for the imminent move from Goodison Park, our home of 133 years, to a world-class new stadium on the banks of the iconic River Mersey, we are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure to support our organisation’s needs. 

 

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for an individual with expertise in Aruba networks, Cisco solutions, and cutting-edge technologies such as SD-WAN, ZTNA & MPLS 

Able to demonstrate hands-on experience with cloud networking 

technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) our successful candidate will also posses the following skills and experience. 

 

 Other key experience we are looking for includes:    

  • Relevant certifications such as Aruba Certified Network Professional (ACNP), CCNA/CCNP, or similar 

  • Full UK Driving Licence 

  • Strong expertise in Aruba Networks, including Aruba Central and ClearPass 

  • Experience with troubleshooting and optimising network performance in complex environments 

  • Familiarity with network security principles and practices. 

  • Networking Experience (LAN, WAN,Wi-Fi)

The location of this role will be onsite at the famous Royal Liver Building 

  

This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week
