How You'll Make an Impact:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in building and implementing features that empower lodging customers to make data-driven pricing decisions. Some of these features will use simple heuristic data, while others will leverage advanced machine learning techniques to optimize revenue strategies.

You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop innovative solutions, and drive revenue growth for the hotels that rely on our platform. From structuring data pipelines to implementing ML models, you’ll own the end-to-end development of our revenue management application—ensuring hotels have the insights they need to maximize their success.

What You Bring to the Team:

  1. Develop and implement end-to-end machine learning features that enable customers to optimize their revenue strategies.
  2. Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and structure large datasets for ML applications.
  3. Design, train, and deploy machine learning models where needed to improve pricing optimization.
  4. Analyze data trends and patterns to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to improve system performance and usability.
  6. Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate model effectiveness and continuously improve performance.
  7. Communicate findings and technical insights to stakeholders across the organization.

What Sets You Up for Success:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or machine learning role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  3. Expertise in deploying ML models at scale on AWS, with experience using MLFlow or similar platforms.
  4. Strong Python programming skills, with experience using Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and other ML frameworks.
  5. Expert-level SQL skills and experience working with large datasets for analysis and modeling.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creative, data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.

Bonus Skills to Stand Out:

  1. Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in revenue management or pricing optimization.
  2. Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (AWS, MLFlow, or other data science/ML certifications).
