Own the design direction and design system for a retailer portal used for international calling, mobile top-ups, e-gifts, and money transfers. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, product owners, and operations to develop research-informed solutions, prototypes, high-fidelity specifications, and cohesive cross-platform experiences. Lead workshops, iterate through stakeholder feedback, and create micro-interactions, animations, and user-centered designs aligned with business goals.
BOSS Revolution moves international calling, mobile top-up, e-gift and money transfer through a network of independent retailers across the US. Bodegas, groceries, kiosks, phone shops. The portal is what the clerk behind the counter uses to run every one of those transactions.
We're hiring a product designer to own it.
What the job involves:
- Shape the direction and design language of our retailer portal product.
- Build a deep understanding and partner with a cross-functional team of PMs, engineers, POs, and operations to execute on our product roadmap.
- Get constant and quick feedback from stakeholders and iterate quickly.
- Think holistically across all BOSS Revolution products' touch points and help create a cohesive customer journey grounded in user research and analytics.
- Grow and maintain our cross-platform, cross-functional design system.
- Lead workshops with key stakeholders, creating prototypes, and developing high-fidelity specifications for collaboration with tech teams.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in product design.
- Expertise in designing and prototyping in Figma; You know how to switch between modes, create atomic design components in figma.
- High bar for quality, with excellent visual, UI and mobile interaction skills.
- Service design mindset, framing problems in the context of our UX strategy while executing at low levels of detail.
- You always create clickable prototypes while discussing your UX solutions. Never static designs.
- Efficiency prototyping at appropriate levels of abstraction and fidelity.
- Bias towards systems thinking, anticipating the ripple effects that small and large design changes will have across all our products.
- Comfortable working in an open and collaborative design environment where feedback is sought early and often.
- Great English communication (minimum B2) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
- Proficiency in design & animation tools such as Figma, LottieFiles, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent English, presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into compelling design solutions.
- Proven ability to create micro interactions, UX gamification and business understanding in the past worked projects.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
