ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Middle Strong / Senior Project Manager in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Poland and Croatia.


ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is one of the leading British renewable energy companies specializing in zero-carbon power generation. They own and operate several power plants, focusing on sustainable biomass production, renewable electricity generation, and distribution to businesses. The company manages a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, including biomass, hydroelectric, and pumped hydro storage facilities across the UK.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Proficient in Scrum (preferably SAFe)
  • Advanced English for communication with distributed teams (UK, Ukraine, Europe)
  • Experience managing mid-sized and large projects
  • Experience executing fixed-price projects
  • Practical knowledge of the EVM (Earned Value Management) model
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Waterfall
  • Familiarity with the PMBOK guide
  • Deep understanding of IT systems and project life cycles
  • Proven knowledge of project management principles
  • Solid understanding of project financials (profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, resource utilization)
  • Working knowledge of project management tools: JIRA, TFS, BugTracker, MS Project
  • Professional certifications are a plus

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
  • Effectively analyze and report on project status
  • Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
  • Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
  • Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
  • Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
  • Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
  • Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
