Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we’re looking for talented people who want to shape what comes next.  As a Media Sales Executive in our Customer Experience team, you’ll manage and grow supplier-funded media activity across your assigned categories. Working closely alongside colleagues in Co-op Wholesale, you’ll make sure these activities are planned to best support our suppliers’ annual promotional and new product development calendars.

Why this role matters

Exciting things are happening at Co-op Wholesale. We’re growing fast, strengthening our offer for retailers, key accounts, and corporate partners, and we need great people to be part of our journey.

To make this offer the best it can be, and to achieve shared success for us, our partners, and our suppliers, we need clear, engaging, and well-executed media across every channel available to us. That’s where you come in.

What you’ll do

  • Secure and grow media activation revenue for your assigned categories
  • Work with colleagues across Co-op Wholesale to ensure all media activity maximises revenue and is aligned to our suppliers’ brand and promotional plans
  • Co-ordinate creative assets and campaign schedules with internal teams to ensure media activity is delivered as booked
  • Make sure all media content meets Co-op brand standards, tone of voice, and inclusive messaging guidelines
  • Analyse activity results, report on their effectiveness, and use this insight to inform future supplier-funded media activation plans

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

  • Experience in media sales or account management
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify new revenue streams
  • Strong administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
  • Confidence working with suppliers and across multiple teams, building positive working relationships
  • Great attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • A commercial mindset and interest in how promotional activity drives value for customers and partners

We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:

  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • 30% discount on Co-op products and 10% off other brands
  • Stream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
  • 24/7 colleague support service
  • Training and support for your development and career progression
  • Cycle-to-work scheme

A place you’ll belong

We’re building diverse and inclusive teams that reflect the communities we serve.

We welcome applications from everyone and are committed to creating a workplace where colleagues can feel like they belong, supported by our inclusive policies and the ways we work.
