As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing innovative mechanical and electromechanical solutions that help shape the future of our gaming products.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components for new products and enhancements to existing platforms.

  • Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and design documentation using SolidWorks and associated design tools.

  • Transform product requirements and technical specifications into practical, manufacturable engineering solutions.

  • Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to optimise quality, cost, performance, and reliability.

  • Work closely with engineering, production, suppliers, and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Support prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvement activities.

  • Contribute to project planning by identifying technical risks, opportunities, and feasibility considerations.

  • Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

  • Capture and interpret customer and stakeholder requirements to deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience using 3D CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks

  • A broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical design scenarios

  • Strong knowledge of design for manufacture (DFM) principles and value engineering approaches

  • A hands‑on mindset, with experience supporting workshop prototyping and product development

  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to a range of stakeholders

  • Experience within the gaming industry (desirable but not essential)

  • Familiarity with PLM Manufacturing systems and an understanding of electrical connectivity (advantageous)

  • Expand your involvement in product development from concept generation through to production launch.

  • Influence the design of next-generation gaming technology.

  • Build your career within a global organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Working Model

This role is based at our Chadderton office and follows a 4-day-per-week onsite working model. We believe that regular in-person collaboration helps drive innovation, strengthens teamwork, and enables our engineers to create the exceptional products we're known for.
