About Midnight:

IOG's Midnight Tribe is a business technology provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, a blockchain platform for developing decentralized applications that safeguard personal and commercial data. The Midnight Network is the first blockchain to offer programmable data isolation by leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to enable selective disclosure of what information is visible on-chain and is designed to help developers implement necessary business policies, such as meeting regulatory requirements.

What the role involves:

As a Marketing Project Manager in Midnight, you will facilitate the Agile process within the marketing team, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery of internal and externally facing marketing projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, enhance collaboration, and drive continuous improvement. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that marketing initiatives are planned well, delivered on time and align with strategic goals. You will be able to:

  • Facilitate project scrum meetings, campaign planning, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and partners to prioritize and manage the marketing backlog.
  • Manage the progress of deliverables and tickets in Jira, Asana and other project management tooling. 
  • Ensure alignment in processes with other Midnight teams, such as Product, Engineering and Developer Relations. 
  • Identify risks and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Track and report on project metrics to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing project documentation.
  • Support the marketing team in achieving high levels of performance and quality.
Requirements

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a project manager in marketing or digital environment. 
  • Expert level organization and planning skills. 
  • Experience with any marketing automation and CRM software. (Hubspot, Asana, Jira preferred) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing projects with personnel spread across multiple time zones. 
  • Demonstrated track record of effective project management and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience defining metrics and measuring the success of campaigns or initiatives that are launched.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and engaging with multi-disciplinary and technical engineering teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in blockchain, web3 projects, or open-source developer tooling.
