We are looking for a strong marketeer based in Germany or the UK - ideally within distance or one of our offices (Cologne or Runcorn). Experience working with Distribution partners is essential for the role.

This is an individual contributor role.

Job Summary: The Marketing Manager EMEA Military is responsible for implementing and executing marketing plans for the EMEA Government/Military Business to help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand. There is a clear focus on planning and managing the tactical activities supporting the EMEA Government/Military Sales Team as well as our local Business Partners and Integrators.

    Essential Functions:

    • Serves as product and market expert as it relates to Government and Military Medical Services for both ZOLL and the competition.
    • Collects, analyzes, and maintains competitive intelligence - including product literature and pricing - and communicates information as appropriate within the organization.
    • Develops regional Government/Military Marketing plan for EMEA in close collaboration with Government/Military Marketing Director and Government/Military Sales Leadership.
    • Thinks strategically to create new sales tools, sales engagement campaigns and lead generation projects.
    • Implementation and execution of strategies and tactics supporting our global and regional

    Government/Military strategic objectives.

    • Manages EMEA Government/Military trade shows.
    • Takes customer satisfaction as a personal goal to ensure ZOLL customers and field sales and clinical teams receive the highest level of support from marketing.

    Skills Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and minimum 5 years marketing experience
    • Experience/background in Medical Device Industry and/or Government/Military preferred but not essential.
    • Experience working with indirect Sales Channels, Business Partners and Distributors
    • Proven track record in Digital Marketing incl. Social Media
    • Demonstrated ability to take complex information and make it useful to customers and sales
    • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
    • Current knowledge or aptitude to learn clinical applications of product in Government/Military markets
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and project management skills.
    • Salesforce.com or other CRM tools experience
    • Willingness to travel up to (maximum) 30% of time
    • Willingness to do light physical work.
