Description

Freejam is seeking an experienced multi-disciplinary Marketing Artist to join the Robocraft 2 team. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team and with Brand & Community and Performance marketing. Applicants will be within +/- 2 hours of the GMT time zone

We are looking for a pragmatic freelance marketing artist who thrives on the ability to be creative. You will have a passion to work in the PC free to play space and be eager to immerse yourself in producing effective marketing art for the game. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver high-quality content that connects and captivates players, gets them engaged and excited, and motivates them to participate in the game. You will thrive in making creatives that are attractive, clear, on brand and fun.

  • Create engaging, impactful and high-performance marketing assets for social media, in-game events and Steam Store purposes which would include feature graphics, banners, icons, screenshots, game updates and in-game events
  • Prepare creative assets for ad hosting platforms
  • Collaborate with diverse team members, such as Artists, Product, Brans, to ensure consistency in visual, messaging and branding across multiple format.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and making necessary adjustments to compositions throughout the LiveOps cycle
Requirements
  • Expert in Photoshop and good general knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using Unity and Maya
  • Able to communicate complex ideas in a simple, visually appealing way
  • Have exceptionally strong communication skills and a teamwork oriented attitude
  • Understanding of social media, marketing and emerging trends
  • Able to adapt to quickly changing schedules with ease
  • Able to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, UI, UX, composition and scale
  • Experience in creating and implanting game or marketing content.
  • Experience in creating Steam Store capsule images, promos.


Preferred:

  •  Previous experience in brand marketing
  • Knowledge and passion for video games
  • An interesting in live service, UGC games
