The role
The role plays a key role in the management and implementation of our Insurance and Functions Talent and Capabilities agenda. The role holder will be responsible for leading elements of the implementation of our strategy, managing key activities with subject matter experts, local leads and other members of the People team.
You’ll help us make health happen by
- Programme manage end to end implementation of talent and capability programmes, including those delivered in partnership with external providers.
- Lead on preparation and delivery of Talent Forums in UKI, BG and Functions, tracking actions and engaging with senior stakeholders and members of the people team to embed the talent agenda.
- Succession Plan and metrics showing current succession strength.
- Support key deliverables of the Connected Careers Talent strategy across BGIUK
- Lead on Design and Delivery of LD solutions which reach a broader leader audience e.g. LD webinars for all leaders across BGIUK
- Expertly facilitate and deliver innovative and effective learning interventions, enabling learners to achieve desired
outcomes. - Lead on agreeing evaluation criteria and learning outcomes with relevant stakeholders for Talent and Capability initiatives to demonstrate value add/return on investment.
- Work with the Procurement team to lead and coordinate engagement with third party learning providers as required.
- Manage relationships with external providers, ensuring they consistently deliver as expected and agreed.
- Keep up to date with external movement in learning and development practices to ensure continuous improvement and ongoing innovation.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
- Experience, skill and confidence in engaging with senior leaders on talent management and leadership development.
- Expert in designing and delivering learning solutions
- Experience in Talent Management
- Highly developed planning and organisational abilities and a self starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high personal impact.
- Expert facilitation skills
- High personal awareness and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport
- The confidence and ability to challenge current ways of thinking with innovative and new ideas
- Well developed use of Microsoft software packages principally MS Office
- Preference: experience and understanding of multiple areas of the Bupa business – insurance, provision and functions.
