Job Description
As an Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Banking team, you will play a crucial role in developing and sustaining resilient infrastructure solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals. Your proficiency in AWS and Terraform will be essential in creating secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure environments.
Job responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, applying creative problem-solving skills to resolve challenges and optimize performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes to enhance operational stability and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials, ensuring alignment with existing systems and cloud architecture.
• Lead initiatives to promote best practices in infrastructure engineering, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a team culture that values diversity, equity, opportunity, and respect.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure design, implementation, testing, and operational stability.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery methods and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in infrastructure applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud computing, automation).
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
