Playtech‘s Casino unit is looking for an experienced, proactive Lead QA Engineer with outstanding technical, leadership and communication skills.

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Lead and manage a small team of testers, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure their success and professional development.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of product domain knowledge, architecture and general functionality.
  • Organise and manage resource allocations based on workload and facilitate movement of employees between tasks and projects to meet demand.
  • Ensure implementation and testing of comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies for all released software.
  • Work with the Business Analysts and Developers in reviewing user stories, help identify gaps in the requirements and providing accurate story point for QA.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of testing processes and results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance overall quality.

Qualifications

Components for success. You have...

  • 5 -10 years of experience in software quality assurance including test plan development, software testing and knowledge of quality assurance processes/methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with experience guiding teams in testing best practices and strategy development.
  • Experience of being proactive and organised, capable of working in an uncertain environment and managing risks effectively to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Ability to review code commits to help with testing coverage by identifying affected services/component.

You'll get extra points for...

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, particularly Playwright and Locust with C#/Python.
