Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Performance and Talent partner to lead global initiatives, positioning Wise as a top destination for talents to thrive. In this role, you will advance our mission by cultivating high-performing teams through ongoing feedback, development, and growth. You will strategically manage performance cycles, lead impactful talent projects, collaborate with people partners in our largest team - servicing operations to drive the performance and talent agenda and work closely with the people team to embed performance and talent deeply in our ways of working.

About You

You are a passionate and an advanced strategic performance and talent professional, or a people partner, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale and impactful performance and talent initiatives, ideally within high-growth businesses. You have demonstrated success in owning and driving multiple global initiatives and collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve objectives. Your strengths include strategic thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, and project and change management.

Your mission:

  • Develop and execute strategic performance and talent projects that align with the broader people team and Wise objectives.

  • Act as a strategic talent partner for the servicing operation functions, collaborating with People Partners to optimise talent and performance initiatives to drive high performance.

  • Lead the performance review process in collaboration with key stakeholders, exploring best practice to optimise the process. 

  • Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions for performance and talent initiatives.

  • Collaborate with our talent development and talent acquisition teams to deliver a holistic approach to performance and talent management at Wise.

  • Manage and optimise performance and talent tools in Workday, implementing best practices.

  • Mentor and coach the talent team as needed and offer feedback and guidance on cross-functional projects where required. 

  • Gather and analyse trends in performance and talent data for senior stakeholders and to drive informed talent decisions.

Core skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in strategic thinking and project management. 

  • Advanced proficiency using performance management tools. .e.g. Workday or other. 

  • Consultative approach to problem-solving, applying data-driven insights to create tailored solutions.

  • Adept at stakeholder management, collaborating and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders to achieve set goals.

  • Open to feedback and committed to personal and professional growth.
