In this role, you will act as the primary technical expert within the team, offering guidance on design, implementation, and industry best practices. You will develop and maintain deep expertise in the team's domain, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor for both team members and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

As a Lead Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of groundbreaking solutions that drive our success. You’ll guide teams with your expertise, craft our system architecture, and influence our technological trajectory. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-impact projects that challenge and excite you!

You will excel in solving complex problems, collaborating across fields, and mentoring others while continuously learning and staying ahead of industry trends.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical authority on our products and third-party integrations across multiple teams
  • Lead the analysis of complex requirements, balancing priorities, and making informed trade-offs at the application or system level
  • Own and deliver end-to-end projects, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and SLA requirements
  • Define, design, and evolve architecture for new and existing systems
  • Support reengineering efforts to improve platform resilience, performance, and sustainability
  • Act as an authority in your focus areas, mentoring and supporting engineers across the technology space
  • Champion the evaluation and adoption of emerging tools, technologies, and practices across teams
  • Partner with Engineering Managers and Product leads to plan, align, and de-risk technical roadmaps
  • Identify dependencies and proactively unblock teams to deliver efficiently and confidently
  • Engage deeply with cross-functional collaborators, ensuring technical decisions align with business goals

You’ll bring most of the following:

  • Deep experience with cloud-native architectures, scalable systems, and integration patterns
  • Comfort working with high-volume data flows and systems requiring low-latency integrations
  • Proven track record to lead the design and delivery of robust, high-performing software platforms
  • Depth in at least two technical domains (more detail below) from software engineering to infrastructure, data, event processing, or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and how to craft within their ecosystems
  • Confidence with modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code
  • Experience delivering architectural change in Agile teams, with a hands-on, iterative attitude
  • Ability to identify technology risks, scope impact, and translate sophisticated ideas into clear, actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you know how to bring people with you

Technical Areas of Depth

We recognize that phenomenal leaders develop mastery in a few key areas. You should have advanced expertise in at least two of the following. If you’re strong in more, even better!

Advanced proficiency in at least two of:

  • Scala
  • C# / C++ / .NET
  • Javascript / Typescript / React
  • Python
