As a Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Automation & Control, you will contribute to the design, development, and commissioning of advanced control systems for turbomachinery applications and climate technologies solutions.

You will play a key role in both customer-specific projects and strategic initiatives, supporting new products and energy transition technologies verification.

As a Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Automation & Control, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and defining Control System architecture for turbomachinery and energy transition applications, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECEx).

  • Validating control algorithms and software based on technical specifications, ensuring high-quality performance before site commissioning.

  • Defining Package Control philosophies tailored to customer requirements and aligned with internal standards.

  • Executing test design & commissioning with excellence, ensuring timely delivery of documentation and active participation in reviews, in full compliance with the required quality standards.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware/software engineers, suppliers, and customers to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Supporting New Product Development (NPD) and New Technology Development (NTD) initiatives, participating in technical and program reviews.

  • Promoting innovation by optimizing standard solutions, enhancing design tools, and introducing cost-effective technologies.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical and/or Automation and/or Control preferred)

  • Have some work or internship experience as Control (or Electric) Engineering.

  • Have strong problem-solving skills.

  • Show excellent leadership and team-building skills with a passion for developing others.

  • Be fluent both in English and Italian

  • Have strong interpersonal skills
