Company Description

Your Mission At Wise, we are fully devoted to our Mission: Money without borders. Instant, convenient, and eventually free. Over 16 million people and businesses use Wise, which processes over £9 billion in cross-border transactions every month, saving customers over £1.5 billion a year. We serve a wide range of customers from personal users, freelancers, small businesses and increasingly even to large enterprises and banks. Wise also offers over 50 currencies for customers to hold and convert money in.

The Wise Card was first launched in Europe in 2018, allowing customers to spend internationally at the mid-market rate, with only a low, upfront conversion fee. Since then, we’ve expanded to over 50+ countries and territories in the Americas and APAC, and built features like instant issuance of digital cards and enhanced spending controls. We’ve issued more than 4 million cards that are being used in over 160 countries every minute.

As part of the Spend Squad, you’ll primarily work on enabling customers to spend from their Wise accounts in a sustainable manner, ensuring that we’re able to grow our product in-line with our squad-level KPIs.

Job Description

How you’ll contribute:

  • Provide data-driven insights to inform product decisions, from improving in-product flows to building card customer segmentation.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Science and Operational teams to drive product enhancements and optimisations.

  • Design experiments to monitor the impact of new product features on risk, convenience and conversion metrics.

  • Build conviction on high-impact areas and challenge them if there are faster or more effective ways to tackle the problem.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Choose your path to impact – we believe people are most empowered when they can act autonomously. So rather than telling you what to do, you’ll work with your team to create a vision of your own. Of course, you can always gather feedback from smart, curious people across Wise but you’ll have the freedom to make your own calls.

  • Grow as a Product Analyst in a global team. This role will give you exposure to how we build our card product globally.

  • The freedom to have real impact – The opportunities you’ll identify will be key to how we impact our millions of card customers across the globe.

  • Travel when needed to our offices across the globe to connect with team members in other countries.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical mind and product intuition

  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in all tasks

  • Technical skill-set in advanced SQL, Python, BI tools

  • Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, designers, analysts, finance teams)

  • Relevant experience in a data-driven and complex environment with limited guidance

  • Excellent data visualisation and presentation skills

  • Experience designing and developing Data Warehouse models and transformations, preferably using DBT
