The Learning & Development (L&D) Program Manager will lead the design and execution of IMC Chicago's learning approach. You will partner closely with business leaders and HR business partners (HRBPs) to understand business strategy and key learning and development needs. Through your leadership, you will collaboratively develop and manage a portfolio of learning programs to address gaps and build future capability. You will play an integral role in delivering learning programs that are largely custom to IMC, practical, repeatable, and sustainable. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about growing our people and ensuring our programs are consistently well-received across the organization.
Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and facilitate training (technical, behavioral, and leadership skills) for IMC Chicago
  • Manage a portfolio of curricula that brings IMC's strategy and our vision for talent development to life
  • Own, optimize, and manage the operations of our L&D programs, including needs analysis, resource allocation, delivery, communications, evaluation, reporting, content evolution, and vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of L&D to create the annual L&D plan for the Chicago office.
  • Partner with the Learning Systems Specialist to develop and scale training and tools
  • Oversee the analysis of learner feedback and other data to promote continuous improvement of programs, consistently moving development to the next level.
  • Execute with strong project management skills, including monitoring work plans and managing against milestones, knowing what to prioritize and why, keeping key people informed, and escalating as needed.
  • Ensure policies, programs, and guidelines are followed and manage exceptions and escalations.
  • Contribute to additional HR and IMC initiatives as needed.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-growth environment
  • Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering (training yourself and partnering with trainers) learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
  • Significant program management experience in successfully planning, managing, and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with tight timelines
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, concisely and with impact, understanding what is relevant versus what isn't
  • Understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design methods, training facilitation, and communications to entice participation in programs
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between complex issues, data, and outcomes
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables:
    • Aggregate data, complete analysis, and display results visually
    • Translate data into insights and tell a clear, concise, and compelling story tailored to your audience; make asks clear and easily actionable
    • Create clear, concise, professional written communications with a user-friendly layout that readers can follow
