JOB DESCRIPTION
A Label Center Specialist is responsible for identifying areas of improvement, implementing new strategies, and assessing effectiveness to streamline Label Center processes. Oversees establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships by satisfying their needs in a professional, expeditious and cost effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proficient with label requirements to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve client and supplier problems by investigating issues with concerned parties and relaying information.
  • Accountable for process improvements working directly with key stakeholders on project status.
  • Engage with all facets of the organization to ensure successful implementation of process improvements on complex client issues.
  • Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and identify trends in label activity.
  • Monitor label requirements are clearly documented, communicated, and updated throughout the organization, and leverage support where needed.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Label Center Manual and utilize that knowledge to develop change.
  • Ability to protect the reputation of the UL brand by issuing labels that meet standard operating procedures.
  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Higher education and generally 4 years prior experience in analyzing processes and implementing change.
  • Comfortable in using multiple software tools.
  • Has strong ability to analyze data and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Able to manage projects and leading teams through change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Has strong client focus and effective client service skills.
  • This is a Hybrid position with expectations to be in the office 3 days a week.

Must be located or willing to relocate to the Northbrook, IL area.
What we offer:
  • Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $62,000 to $68,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
