Join Ipsen and Make a Difference for PatientsAt Ipsen, we are passionate about improving the lives of patients through innovative medicines and healthcare solutions. We are looking for a commercially driven, customer-focused Key Account Manager to join our growing Neuroscience team, covering the Yorkshire and East Midlands region.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving business growth while helping healthcare professionals optimise patient outcomes within neuroscience services. You'll work closely with NHS stakeholders, clinical specialists and internal cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement tailored solutions and support improvements in patient care.
About the RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing strategic accounts across your territory. You will build strong partnerships with healthcare professionals and NHS organisations, helping to address service challenges, improve patient pathways and maximise the value delivered to customers and patients.
Success in this role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, strong account management skills and the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver sales growth across high-priority accounts through effective account planning and execution.
- Develop and implement tailored account strategies aligned to both NHS and Ipsen priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, service capacity and clinical outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, developing advocacy and supporting service transformation initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to deliver value-added solutions for customers.
- Utilise customer insights and business analytics to prioritise opportunities and maximise territory performance.
- Drive engagement through face-to-face, virtual and digital channels.
- Maintain a high level of therapeutic and product expertise to support scientific and clinical discussions.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with the ABPI Code of Practice and company standards.

Essential Requirements- Proven success in pharmaceutical sales, key account management or a similar commercial healthcare role.
- Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders and drive change within healthcare organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning and business analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
- A customer and patient-centric mindset.
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare environment.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory.
- Experience within Neuroscience or a specialist therapy area.
- Minimum of five years' pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing experience.
- Experience working with NHS stakeholders and healthcare systems.
- ABPI qualification.
