About the role
The GDN EE Applications Bulgaria capability deals with projects on latest technologies and develop server, cloud, and mobile applications. We deliver high value services to DXC customers, which are global leaders in their business domains such as Banking, Insurance, Transport, Health care, Engineering software and others. Our team of 300+ application development professionals is focused on getting deep knowledge of how the customers work and to deliver them innovation through adoption of next generation IT solutions. We are currently expanding our team with Junior DevOps Engineer
Daily challenges
- Perform independent investigation, diagnosis and resolution of incidents involving single or multiple technologies.
- Understand a core spectrum of company technology to provide adequate solutions which meet customer requirements.
- Pro-actively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area.
- Implement corrections in technical applications to optimize performance.
- Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal teams.
- Work with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
eXperience and skills required
- Cloud skills (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- SQL / KQL (Query Languages)
- Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
- Microservices architecture: e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Operating Systems: e.g., Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE) or Windows
- Sufficient technical knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain, and scope multiple deliverables across diverse technologies
