Job Description
About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Junior Demand Planner to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Junior Demand Planner position lies within the UKI Supply and Operations department reporting into the Head of Demand Planning for UK&I.
Your primary responsibility will be leading UK and Ireland's total forecast for one of our key categories: New Ventures (this includes our iconic Heinz Pasta Sauce range, culinary tomatoes products, and World Cuisine brands such as Amoy & Sosu). The New Ventures team operates with a start-up mindset to deliver disruptive innovations and build new business models - challenging the status quo to deliver with agility and always driving for creative excellence!
This role includes a combination of historical volume reviews and new data to support new product launches, future innovations, factory planning, logistics planning and stock policy. You strive to make sure we have the right product in the right place at the right time.
What you'll do:

  • Deliver forecast accuracy targets through the development of robust demand forecasts
  • Lead the demand review meeting and process framework to ensure forecasts are constructively challenged to drive consensus and accuracy
  • Run the forecast of a portfolio of FMCG products including the generation of base forecast down to SKU level through high quality analysis within our o9 platform.
  • Coordinate forecast inputs such as promotional and media plans and coordinating product flow to the UK market with the central supply team
  • Customer service levels (i.e. case fill rate and requested delivery date to ensure we have the right product in the right place at the right time) and operational costs to manage operation efficiency


Qualifications

  • Demonstrable expertise in demand planning (ideally 2+ years)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
