Position Title: Junior Data Analyst
Location: Manchester, Cheltenham or London
Role Purpose:
Data Validation Analyst (entry-level) will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data. This role involves analysing data and identifying discrepancies to maintain data quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Data Validation: Ensure data accuracy by identifying inconsistencies through validation processes.
- Investigation: Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Data Management: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage and validate large datasets.
- Independent Work: Work independently and remotely, handling confidential information with discretion.
- Data Monitoring: Continuously monitor thorough data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Quality Standards: Comply with client quality standards and deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work with privacy, security, and IT teams to understand customer privacy requirements and their impact on processes.
What we are looking for in you:
- Internship or project experience in data validation or data analysis.
- Ability to manage large datasets.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical and professional skills
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. (desirable but not essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. (desirable but not essential)
