As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you'll be part of an agile team dedicated to improving and delivering software solutions for customer KYC processes. Your role will involve contributing to the design, development, and troubleshooting of software applications.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and troubleshoot software solutions using Java17, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Write secure, high-quality code.
- Design and develop applications considering system interactions.
- Use tools like Cucumber and Blaze Meter to automate processes.
- Solve technical problems using App Dynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Learn and apply methodologies for secure and stable code development.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Java concepts and expanding applied experience.
- Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Ability to code in Java and Python.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies like CI/CD and application security.
- Knowledge of AWS, AI, ML, MongoDB, Oracle, and Kafka.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies like Angular, React.
- Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS.
