About the role

The IT Infrastructure Engineer, as part of a team, is required to manage the local IT infrastructure and support Electrolux IT/Business projects and activities at the Porcia factory site. In case of need, its support may be extended to cover adjoining Electrolux sites.

What will you do:

  • Run and maintain all IT infrastructure in the site, including the Server Rooms

  • Support and drive all new EIT projects and initiatives involving EIT infrastructure

  • Proactively participate and support initiatives related to digital transformation, working with engineering department for systems integration matters.

  • Manage all local Server environment ( Virtual and Physical )

  • Liaise and coordinate with an external vendor in Workplace management

  • Vendor Management for local Infrastructure and cabling

  • Contract Management for local Infrastructure and cabling

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the preparation and manage the yearly budget for local IT infrastructure equipment.

  • Maintain and improve relations with site IT Delivery Manager users, other IT departments and key stakeholders on-site about local Infrastructure needs.

  • Collaborate in the procurement process for OT and industrial infrastructure, liaising with the purchasing department and business.

Design and Development:

  • Collaborate in the design and develop all local IT network infrastructure (L2/L3 switches, fiber optic connections, LAN, wireless) according to future site and production requirements.

  • Design local LAN and Wi-Fi architecture and align with Global IT requirements.

  • Collaborate in the design and manage OT security assets and VLAN segmentation onsite.

  • Liaise with the Engineering department for the design and provisioning of IT infrastructure for machinery and equipment in the production area.

  • Liaise with R&D, logistics, Spare Parts, and CTS departments for the design and provisioning of infrastructure for laboratories and warehouses.

Management and Operations:

  • Define and manage all site contracts related to cabling, racking, and stacking of LAN infrastructure.

  • Be responsible for the overall operativity of local IT/server rooms on-site, liaising with local facilities, vendors, and Global IT.

  • Purchase, manage, and patch factory PCs in OT and shopfloor environments, taking care of asset lifecycle and disposal

  • Local Surveillance Management (perimetral security)

  • Site Access Control management and infrastructure

  • Measurement Infrastructure for R&D Laboratories

Who you are:

  • Education in Electronics, Information Systems, Automation or similar

  • Competent Windows-based computers architecture and OS knowledge

  • Server architecture knowledge ( both physical and Virtual )

  • Network management knowledge and architecture skills

  • Good skills on Connectivity and Digitalization

  • Good communication skills to manage IT users and Office/Business functions

  • Knowledge of OT/IIoT environment is considered a plus

  • 3 years working in manufacturing company will be a plus
