Job Description

We're now looking to kick-start recruitment for our Investment Operations Specialist Apprenticeships Programme (Level 4). This is a great opportunity to gain business exposure while you work towards an industry recognised professional qualification.

Due to the diverse nature of the role and the exposure to the wider business, the programme provides an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and competencies over the two year programme. Including but not limited to: communication and influencing, team working & collaboration, ownership & initiative, personal development. AJ Bell offers a wide range of development & mentoring opportunities to all employees, including in-house technical and professional development training so you can feel positive about your future at AJ Bell. 

The Investment Operations Specialist Apprenticeship Programme opens the door to many possibilities and opportunities to continue your career at AJ Bell focusing on either a managerial or technical career path. We will provide all the training and support you need to develop in your apprenticeship and beyond.

If you’re successful, you’ll join the AJ Bell Apprenticeship Academy in September 2025 and have the opportunity to work in different teams to gain a full understanding of our customer journey.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 104 UCAS points (under the tariff for courses starting from September 2017)
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A*-C / 9 - 4 (including Maths and English)
  • Ability to demonstrate why you want to work within the financial services industry
  • Honesty, self-motivation, reliability
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop in different teams within the business
