About the Role
Elsevier is seeking a dynamic and strategic Internal Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support our go-to-market excellence and effectiveness through internal communication strategies designed to engage and inform global Sales and Customer Success teams within Elsevier’s Academic & Government (A&G) organization. The Internal Communications Manager will collaborate with colleagues across the business to develop communications that promote widespread alignment and understanding of our strategy and mission, while helping to build an engaged and agile culture.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing comprehensive and measurable internal communication strategies aligned with Elsevier's strategic objectives.
Crafting clear, engaging messaging that resonates with colleagues and reinforces our company's mission, values and brand.
Collaborating closely with senior leaders to develop and align messaging and ensure consistent, timely communication throughout the organization.
Planning and producing engaging and informative content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet articles, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
Acting as a trusted advisor to colleagues across the business, providing insights and guidance on effective communication practices.
Requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build successful relationships at all levels of the organization.
Skilled in partnering with senior leaders to produce executive communications, such as internal announcements, scripts, presentations and blogs/vlogs.
Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering communication strategies across multiple channels, as well as experience in supporting complex organizational change programs.
An agile and action-oriented mindset is a must. Experience of working in a matrixed environment.
Adept at using generative AI tools as well as communication and collaboration platforms such as Monday.com, Sharepoint, content management systems, and Office 365.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, suitable for variety of target audiences.
