Your Title: Instructional Designer

Job Location: EMEA, remote, UK preferred.

Do you enjoy synthesising information and creating meaningful and engaging content? Do you have experience producing video and e-learning for the purposes of communication and training? What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Transporeon’s sales enablement team as well as subject matter experts & sales leadership to create engaging training content to support key product launches and ongoing enablement.

  • Record, edit, and produce video content and package videos into learning modules.

  • Create learning aids, such as user guides, job aids and playbooks

  • Create instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, interactive, and consistent with sound instructional design principles to assist product and skills training.

  • Use best practices to identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver content.

  • Consult with the sales enablement team and subject matter experts to identify learning gaps and content requirements.

  • Work with the sales enablement team and other subject matter experts to ensure all materials adhere to Product Marketing and Sales Enablement standards.

  • Add content to learning/content management systems and invite/assign learners to appropriate content.

  • Provide basic administration and training for sales enablement tools.

What Skills, Knowledge & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Adult Education, Instructional Systems Design, or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a complex, changing business environment. Comfortable working with a blended team of remote and in-office team members.

  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and can deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Communicate effectively and proactively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Problem-solving and time management skills. 

  • Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.

  • Some years of work experience in instructional design or video production, preferably with a software company.

  • Experience of using multimedia authoring tools (such as Camtasia, Articulate, Adobe) to develop online learning.

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.

What Skills, Knowledge & Experience You Could Bring (Beneficial):

  • Preferred experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms (such as Docebo and Seismic).

  • Working knowledge of streaming audio and video, compression methods, file types, and format.

  • Experience with sales enablement, adult learning and instructor led training development.

  • Experience creating job aids, presentation materials, and other sales support materials.

  • Experience with technical writing.

  • Experience using the Google Suite.


About Your Location
This position can be a remote, hybrid or full-time in office location, preferably in the UK, other locations within Europe can be considered too. The Head Office team is based in Germany.
The manager for this role is in the UK.

Our goal is to align marketing and sales efforts, streamline the sales process, and ultimately drive revenue growth by ensuring that every member of the sales team is prepared to meet the needs of potential customers.
