Agilent inspires and supports discoveries that advance the quality of life. We provide life science, diagnostic and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications and expertise. Agilent enables customers to gain the answers and insights they seek, so they can do what they do best: improve the world around us. Information about Agilent is available at agilent.com.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be a key member of the EMEA Sales organization, responsible for the success of our Laboratory Service Sales division in the UK. This portfolio includes repair and maintenance contracts, learning services, laboratory relocations, asset management solutions, and digital offerings.

In this role, you will help grow our business by engaging customers remotely and helping them find the right mix of instruments, services, consumables, and applications to support their laboratory needs. Working through inbound and outbound digital channels, you’ll connect with customers, understand their challenges, and guide them toward the best solutions.

You may manage your own set of products, markets, or accounts independently, or collaborate closely with the wider sales organization and field sales partners. In some areas, you may even serve as the primary sales representative, owning the full customer relationship.

In this role, you are the face of the company: delivering a high quality digital sales experience built on proactive communication, strong technical understanding, and a genuinely customer centric mindset.

This position is designed for early career professionals and provides an excellent entry point into technical sales. The role is based on a hybrid working model at our Agilent Center of Excellence laboratory in Cheadle, UK.

Your main responsibilities will include:
•    Achieving sales targets by driving remote sales opportunities through phone, email, chat, and other digital channels with both existing customers and new prospects.
•    Preparing accurate quotes, understanding customer needs, and proactively addressing those needs.
•    Building and maintaining strong relationships with end users, procurement teams and laboratory managers.
•    Identifying and generating new business opportunities through creative and strategic approaches.
•    Providing accurate sales forecasts and ensuring the CRM system is consistently updated.
•    Collaborating proactively with internal teams and stakeholders to support customer success and business growth.

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
•    University degree in a life science discipline (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology…)
•    Full professional proficiency in English
•    Previous experience (approximately 2 years) in sales is highly valued and would be considered a strong asset.

On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer focused. You also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with many external and internal partners. You show a real can-do attitude, resilience and you enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.

We offer:
•    An opportunity for you to make a significant impact in a world-class company and develop your skills
•    A role among passionate colleagues, in a growth orientated and inclusive environment. You will become part of a caring and fast paced environment, built on integrity, sharing and trust
•    The chance to be part of a company where we value quality in the solutions we deliver to our customers, with our employees and in relation to the processes we work with.
•    Career development opportunities in an international company
•    Competitive compensation and benefits package
•    A commitment to work/life balance.
•    Company pension scheme, yearly company bonus, private health care, stock purchase plan, medical & life insurance

We will make sure you get all the training and development opportunities you need to become the best in your field!
