Key Responsibilities:
- Lead digital transformation initiatives spanning discrete manufacturing environments, with a focus on integrating Industry 4.0 and IIoT technologies.
- Establish and coordinate Divisional Experts, standard playbooks, and best-practice sharing across multi-site, multi-time-zone operations.
Ensure alignment with divisional goals, corporate architecture standards, and compliance with regional data privacy requirements. - Construction of the digital transformation roadmap and the ongoing follow-up of its execution. This includes defining key milestones, tracking progress against strategic objectives, and ensuring that roadmap initiatives are adapted as needed to meet evolving business and technology requirements.

- Cost Savings, Return on Investment (ROI)
- Promote and support Division to implement Digital Twin models for manufacturing and logistics assets, enabling real-time monitoring, simulation, and predictive analytics to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. Support Smart Factory initiatives.
- Architecture & Connectivity: Define and implement reference architectures spanning edge/OT, connectivity, data, and cloud, leveraging OPC UA, MQTT, and Unified Namespace concepts.
- Standardize integration of shop-floor assets (PLCs, robots, sensors) and enterprise systems (MES/MOM, SCADA, historians).
- Deploy secure industrial edge gateways and manage device lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, and firmware updates
Technical Knowledge
- Industrial protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus/TCP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP.
- Edge runtimes & containers (Docker/Podman, K3s), device management, OTA updates.
- MES/MOM, SCADA/HMI, historians, and cloud IoT platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Data engineering: Kafka, Databricks/Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau.
- Cybersecurity: IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, identity management, secure remote access
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 10+ years in manufacturing operation and digitalization (Industry 4.0/IIoT) with multi-site deployment leadership.
- Multi-site deployment leadership with measurable KPIs and strong change management.
- Hands-on integration across PLC/SCADA, MES/MOM, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong change management and vendor management skills.
- Preffered Certifications: ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Specialist, Cloud IoT certifications (Azure, AWS), Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP/Agile (Scrum or SAFe)
