About This Role
Join our Commercial Aviation Training Centre in Gatwick (West Sussex) as an experienced Human Resources Advisor. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a first-class employee experience. No two days will be the same in this true HR generalist role!
The role we are offering you:
Collaborating with the HR Leader for the EMEA region and the HRBP for Gatwick, you will build strong relationships with all our stakeholders, while collaborating with local and regional HR teams to provide a seamless HR service.
This is a fast-paced and changing environment, where it is essential to focus on excellent delivery and service.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing advice and guidance across all aspects of the employee life cycle, while offering best practice, commercially focused solutions.
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies, ensuring these are in line with current legislation while informing managers of any changes.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of data for payroll and benefits.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team assisting with recruitment campaigns and coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants and their onboarding.
- Work with the HRBP on complex employee relations issues and supports internal investigations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports, use Office Vibe eNPS scores to identify areas of improvement for the Gatwick Training Centre and support managers with changes.
- Administer data in global HR systems, including absence tracking, payroll and employee benefits.
- Actively contributes to local and regional HR projects within the EMEA region and a key member of the social committee.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is CIPD Level 5 qualified or holds an equivalent degree in HR.
- Has at least four years of HR Advisory experience.
- Has experience working for a large, global and commercial organisation.
- Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic live-training and operational environment collaborating with an international team.
- Has strong interest in pro-people management and employment law.

You handle administrative tasks with attention to detail and you feel confident navigating and maintaining our HR systems.

With a ‘can-do’ mindset and an energetic approach to delivering results, you enjoy bringing new ideas and creating structure to help streamline and digitalise our HR processes. As a strong relationship builder, you are a trusted approachable, and visible contact for both employees and the leadership team.
Contract details & location
The position can offer two days home working a week. As you will be working in a live-training and a busy and buzzy operational environment, we are looking for someone who prefers to be on-site. We are offering a full-time and permanent contract. The working hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week.
