We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Junior Writer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Create social media posts that are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for each platform
- Repurpose and repackage long-form or existing content into fresh, digestible formats
- Proofread, rewrite, and refine content assets to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Identify trending topics, cultural moments, and memes relevant to our audience
- Support the content team in maintaining a cohesive brand voice across all channels
- Assist with basic research to strengthen content accuracy and relevance
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment on messaging
Requirements
- Background in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
- Strong passion for social media and digital trends
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to adapt tone and style across different platforms
- Keen eye for trends, social media culture, and emerging formats
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Some experience with content creation—class projects, internships, or personal portfolios are acceptable
- Familiarity with social media scheduling or content tools (e.g., Notion, Canva, Grammarly, Buffer)
- Basic understanding of content performance metrics
