Join us in Hempel as Head of Product Management – Energy, where you'll lead the global product strategy and portfolio execution for our Energy segment. This role is critical in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring sustainability is embedded across the product lifecycle. You will lead a global team of Product Managers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful, customer-focused solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the global Energy product portfolio, including roadmap alignment and lifecycle management.
  • Leading all aspects of product development initiatives and successful new product introductions in collaboration with R&D, marketing, finance and supply chain to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensuring clear market positioning and value proposition for product launches and key product groups.
  • Aligning product strategy with customer needs, market trends, and sustainability goals.
  • Monitoring product performance, market dynamics, and customer feedback to optimize offerings.
  • Supporting global demand planning and forecasting (S&OP) processes for key product groups.

You are right fit if:

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in the chemical or coatings industry within a global organization, with a solid technical understanding of the domain.
  • You have proven track record of leadership in managing global product portfolios and product development projects. With addition of deep understanding of customer needs and commercial aspects of the coatings industry.
  • You hold a university degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • You have the ability to lead, inspire, and develop an international team.
  • You can engage with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating your stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • You speak fluent English (professional proficiency).

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience working with sustainability-focused product development.
  • Familiarity with S&OP and forecasting tools/processes.
