Founders Forum Group is seeking a highly capable Head of Marketing to lead the execution, delivery, and ongoing evolution of marketing across our global portfolio of events, communities, and initiatives.

This is a pivotal role for a commercially minded marketing leader who combines hands-on execution with the ability to think beyond the immediate brief. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels – zooming into the detail required to deliver complex events, while contributing to longer-term thinking around brand, systems, and scale.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will lead a team of 4-5 across marketing and community functions, with additional dotted-line relationships across the wider business. You will be closely involved in shaping how Founders Forum Group positions itself globally and how the marketing function evolves as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership & Delivery

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of marketing for Founders Forum Group’s flagship events and initiatives, ensuring consistently high standards across all touchpoints
  • Lead complex marketing workstreams, including guest books, attendee journeys, event apps, registration platforms, CRM-driven communications, and new tools designed to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Act as a senior point of oversight for all marketing and community communications, leading on acquisition and the outbound community function including guest list curation, VIP communications, and strategic nurture campaigns, while ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the Founders Forum Group brand
  • Oversee social media planning and delivery, including content strategy, scheduling, photography, and on-site capture
  • Work closely with Event Operations on on-site branding and experiential delivery, coordinating with Partnerships on partner marketing across digital and print, managing budgets in collaboration with Finance, and aligning activity with the Tech Nation Marketing team
  • Brief and collaborate with designers and freelance creatives to bring the visual and experiential aspects of our events and brand to life, ensuring high-quality, on-brand outputs across digital, print, and on-site channels

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team with varying levels of experience across marketing and community management
  • Set clear direction and expectations, providing hands-on support, coaching, and feedback to elevate performance across the team
  • Manage team capacity and priorities in a fast-moving environment, adapting plans as new projects and requirements emerge
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of team structures, ways of working, and processes as the business scales

Strategic Contribution & Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Director of Marketing, supporting both immediate delivery and longer-term planning
  • Contribute meaningfully to wider conversations around Founders Forum Group’s positioning, brand evolution, and future event launches
  • Balance short-term execution with forward-looking thinking around systems, tools, and processes that enable growth
  • Work cross-functionally with other Founders Forum Group businesses to align messaging, maximise impact, and share best practice

Stakeholder Management & Global Perspective

  • Own relationships with key external partners, including agencies, printers, tech providers, and account managers
  • Collaborate with international teams and partners, bringing a strong awareness of how the Founders Forum Group brand is experienced across different markets
  • Travel internationally and act as a senior marketing lead on-site at events, supporting live delivery and real-time decision-making

Why Join Founders Forum Group
This role sits at the heart of Founders Forum Group. You will shape how some of the world’s most influential founders, investors, and operators experience our brand – before, during and after our events. Your ability to lead people, deliver flawlessly, and think strategically will directly impact the success and growth of the business.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in a senior marketing role within events, communities, media, or high-growth businesses
  • A proven people leader with a genuine commitment to mentoring, coaching, and developing others
  • A creative thinker with the ability to generate original ideas, challenge conventional approaches, and translate creative concepts into practical, high-impact marketing execution
  • Highly competent across CRM tools, CMS platforms, email marketing tools, Canva, design software, event apps, and other marketing technology, with experience navigating multiple systems and the ability to upskill quickly to meet evolving needs
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-change environments
  • Confident in making decisions, prioritising and re-prioritising in real time as new opportunities and challenges arise
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards while managing multiple workstreams
  • Comfortable operating across teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Internationally minded, with experience working across markets or with global stakeholders

Benefits
  • 25 days contractual annual leave
  • Enhanced discretionary leave provision, including an additional day off for your birthday and leave between Christmas and New Years Day
  • The option to work remotely anywhere in the world for 3 weeks/year (1 week at Easter and 2 weeks during July and August)
  • AXA Health insurance, with the option to add dependents
  • Life Insurance
  • Medicash access, including online GP access and mental health support
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Competitive pension provision
  • Perkbox membership with a generous monthly allocation of points for day-to-day purchases
  • Learning and development annual allowance
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Lunch 1x/week, office snacks, and regular team drinks
  • Quarterly team activities and annual team trip/day out
  • Access to the Founders Forum Group network of businesses and wider tech ecosystem
