As Head of Activations, you’ll: 

  • Own and execute a strategic annual events and activations calendar, aligned with brand moments and KPIs. 
  • Develop and deliver a 360° activation strategy, pitching to senior stakeholders and optimising budget allocation. 
  • Lead on-the-ground brand representation at events (domestic and international), including travel, set-up, delivery, and de-rig. 
  • Manage and develop a team of three, fostering professional growth and prioritising efficient project delivery. 
  • Strategically identify, secure, and manage brand partnerships, curating collaborative calendars and limited-edition product launches. 
  • Activate high-impact licensing partnerships (e.g. Hyrox, Williams F1) through product collaborations, influencer integration, and multi-channel strategies. 

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • 3+ years in a management/leadership role
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive activation strategies across multiple channels. 
  • Adaptability - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving industry. Experience in technology, e-commerce, or global brands would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver large-scale events, managing budgets and aligning with brand KPIs. 
  • Results-Oriented - A clear focus on KPIs and business outcomes, with experience managing large-scale campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of team management and development. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including securing and maintaining strategic brand partnerships. 
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, adept at juggling multiple events and initiatives. 
  • Flexible, proactive approach to working hours and travel requirements. 
  • Creative thinker with a keen understanding of brand positioning to connect with diverse global audiences. 
  • Confident communicator, able to influence and collaborate with internal and external partners. 
  • A deep understanding of the fitness, health, and nutrition sector, including trends, competitors, and consumer behaviour. Experience working with fitness brands or events would be highly valuable.
