About Finance at THG

Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands. About the Role

Step into a pivotal role at the heart of THG, a global, publicly-listed powerhouse with two market leading retail businesses within beauty and sports nutrition. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Group Finance Manager to join our central finance team. This isn't just a compliance role; it's a chance to influence a diverse, global business. You will have unparalleled visibility across all our divisions, partnering with commercial leaders and senior stakeholders, including the Group Finance Director and CFO.

This is a fantastic opportunity, particularly for a talented individual moving from Practice to Industry for the first time. You'll be empowered to expand your skills and build a robust career path, with clear opportunities for progression into wider commercial finance or FP&A roles across the Group.

As Group Finance Manager, you will be a key leader in our financial reporting team. Your role is critical in upholding our financial integrity as we continue to scale globally.

As a Group Finance Manager you will:

  • Spearhead our Group-wide compliance strategy across the UK and internationally, managing a talented team to deliver flawless execution.
  • Take ownership of delivering high-quality, statutory financial statements compliant with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Orchestrate multiple high-stakes projects, from audits to ad-hoc initiatives, working with external advisors and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Be a trailblazer in finance transformation. You will champion the use of automation and AI to redefine our reporting processes, driving efficiency and insight.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo. You'll be empowered to identify, design, and implement improvements to strengthen our financial control framework.
  • Lead and develop junior members of the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build a strong, influential network across the business, acting as a key point of contact for our divisional, legal, tax, and FP&A teams.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • You are an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a strong technical foundation in IFRS and financial reporting. We are open to candidates directly from practice or those with 2+ years of post-qualification industry experience.
  • You have a proven ability to manage projects and people, with exceptional organisational skills and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
  • You are a natural relationship builder, able to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about technology and innovation and have experience (or a strong desire to gain experience) in using technology to transform financial processes.
  • You possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
