Global Marketing Manager – Maternity Cover (12 month contract)

Hybrid – 3 days a week in office

As the Global Marketing Manager for Olivia Burton, your remit will be to support and manage the marketing for Olivia Burton in the UK and key international markets in line with the objectives and overarching strategy for the brand working closely with the Social and Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Along with Social and Digital MM create a 12 month rolling brand calendar for the UK and key international markets.
  • Develop and execute engaging and innovative marketing campaigns for the Olivia Burton brand to increase brand awareness, affinity and customer acquisition.
  • Be the central point of contact for brand planning with local markets to ensure that local plans are developed in line with the overarching strategy and targets.
  • Have a clear understanding of the needs of key local markets and brief and guide creative teams to deliver compelling and engaging seasonal assets that align with channel and market requirements.
  • Be the brand guardian ensuring brand proposition, values and personality are at the forefront of activity and brand guidelines are maintained across all channels and markets.
  • Lead, inspire and deliver PR activity to engage target media to drive brand awareness and build brand gravitas.
  • Effectively manage UK OOH/media budget to shape an impactful media strategy focusing on building brand awareness, reaching key audiences and driving conversion
  • Identify and secure mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant brands and KOLs.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all brand communication and collateral.
  • Develop the annual marketing budget, ensuring effective management and spend optimisation.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams and stakeholders within Olivia Burton and Movado Group.
  • Keep up to date on emerging market trends and competitor activity to ensure that the brand remains top of mind for our consumers - sharing best practise with the wider team.
  • Regular reporting and sharing insights with wider teams to ensure ongoing optimisation of activities.

Skills Required

  • Graduate in marketing, communication or related field with 5+ years experience in marketing, campaign and event management as well as partnership marketing
  • Previous experience dealing with international distributors and partners is preferred
  • Category experience in fashion, beauty or a related consumer products sector
  • Creative thinker with an excellent eye for detail and a proven history of omnichannel campaign management delivery
  • Ability to build relationships with ease and lead, motivate and manage cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Finger on the pulse of retail trends and innovative brand activations
  • Comfortable working in an international / matrix organisation
  • Confident balancing multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work
  • Flexible, resilient and able to work at pace.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Commercially astute and pragmatic
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Curious, passionate and solution-oriented
  • Ambitious, hungry to learn and take on increasing responsibilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Suite
