Job Description:

Vacancy: Front of House Receptionist

Location: Bupa London Euston - 85 Hampstead Rd, London NW1 2PL (Occasional visit to other Bupa Centres in London)     

Permanent / Contract: 1 permanent position and 1 fixed term 12 month contract
Salary: £29,300 per annum, plus Bupa Benefits

Hours: Full time / 40 Hours per week – Shifts are Monday to Friday (with the occasional Saturday) covering various shifts 7am-8pm

Working in our UK support functions you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. To ensure all reception and administrative activities in the Bupa centre are carried out efficiently and effectively. To contribute as a support network in providing outstanding customer service to our customers (adults and children) every time they touch base with us.

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • Greeting and welcoming customers
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming customer queries via phone calls and proactively managing emails
  • Maintaining a well-presented reception and waiting areas
  • Ensure all customers have the correct paperwork to support their visit
  • Ensure all customer details are correct, customers have arrived, appointments booked, changed, and rescheduled, where applicable
  • Collect post, open, date stamp, distribute, and post outgoing post
  • Working as part of a team
  • Ensure compliance with the business Quality Management System

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Deliver an outstanding customer service by being friendly and welcoming
  • Well organised, reliable and have a proactive attitude
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
