The Front-end Engineer will build user-friendly web applications using TypeScript and React.js, ensure code quality, and improve user experiences.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Front-end Engineer with significant experience building web applications with TypeScript and React.js. You should have a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience, a positive attitude, and a passion for building high-quality user experiences using web standards and best practices.

Requirements
Requirements
- Experience building great web apps with TypeScript and React.js
- Deep understanding of the JavaScript / TypeScript and React.js developer ecosystems and tools
- Appreciation of the value of writing automated tests for your code
- Worked with RESTful APIs & JSON
- An understanding of web accessibility best practices
- An understanding of web application security issues and mitigations
- An understanding of web application performance and how to improve it
- An understanding of semantic markup and building SEO optimised applications
- Savvy with software design patterns and when to use them
- Agile, cross-functional empowered team background
- Enjoy working with product designers and backend engineers to create great products
- Strong communication, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Passionate about your craft
Bonus / additional skills
- Experience building e-commerce and marketplace applications
- Experience with node.js and full-stack development
- Experience with Server-side rendering tools, especially Next.js
- Computer Science or another relevant degree
