We are currently seeking Freelance Game Artists worldwide to join our studios remotely, make a meaningful contribution to game titles, and help maintain the exceptional quality and service that Keywords Studios is known for globally. We're looking for artists withthe specialization described below.

Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on AAA Game Development
- Staying up to date with new technologies and art styles
- Assisting and mentoring other artists in your areas of expertise
2D/ Concept Art
- Knowledge of Photoshop and a 3D software (Max, Maya, Blender, Zbrush)
- Knowledge of perspective, composition, design, depth and color theory.
- Knowledge of game art production pipelines.
- Experience in one of these areas: characters, creatures, clothing, environments, props, weapons, UI/UX
3D/ Character Art
- Knowledge of 3D applications such as Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Maya, 3ds Max OR Blender and Photoshop
- .Experience with a commercial game engine such as Unreal
- Experience within game development crafting characters
- Strong knowledge of artistic anatomy.
- Knowledge of game-res geometry optimization and PBR texturing
- Experience in one of these areas: Character Modeling, Sculpting, Texturing and Shading, Rigging, Hair and Fur Grooming, Clothing
3D/ Environment Art
- Knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max OR Blender
- Experience with a commercial game engine such as Unreal
- Experience within game development crafting worlds and environments
- Knowledge of game-res geometry optimization and PBR texturing
- Strong knowledge of level art composition, environmental storytelling, lighting, and an artistic eye
- Experience in one of these areas: Environment Modeling, Terrain and Landscape Design, Texturing and Shading, Level Design, Modular Asset Creation, World Building, Vegetation and Foliage Creation, Lighting , Props and Asset, Architectural Visualization
VFX/Animation
- A strong portfolio/demo reel with recent work showcasing proficiency in 3D gameplay animation and or VFX for video games
- Critical eye for timing, animation, motion, real-time physics, fluid systems and familiarity with the art pipeline in game engines
- Proven expertise with game industry-standard art and engine tools
- Experience in one of these areas: Particle Effects, Fluid and Smoke Simulation, Destruction Effects, Weather and Environmental Effects, Real-Time VFX, Procedural Animation, Keyframe Animation, Motion Capture, Facial Animation, Character Animation, Cinematic Animation, Ragdoll Physics, Animation Rigging, Shader and Material Effects.
