Your role in the team

The Financial Analyst will be joining the Law & Regulation Finance team and play a key role in providing financial support for Allstate’s Law & Regulation department through comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, planning & budgeting. The analyst will collaborate closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency for a critical function within Allstate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective presentations for small groups
  • Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to allow business partners to improve performance
  • Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and assist in implementation of strategies
  • Prepare and help build storyline for financial updates
  • Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business

Essential Skills

  • Finance related degree and 1 years experience in a finance/accountancy role, OR
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in a Finance/Accountancy role,

AND

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial modeling and analytics skills, with proven experience in forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite with strong Excel formula experience (pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial reporting systems (SAP, Workday, Hyperion, or similar ERP tools)
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial statements, key performance indicators and cost analysis.
  • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

Desirable Skills:

  • Good knowledge of control environments and SOX
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Prior experience supporting operational or legal functions.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
