Job summary:
As our Financial Controller at AutogenAI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the company’s financial operations globally. You will be responsible for leading financial reporting, managing the finance tech stack, and ensuring robust accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial controls. This role offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy and work closely with teams across the business. You’ll report directly into our CFO.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Global Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all international operations, aligning with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Finance Tech Stack Management: Oversee and optimize financial systems and tools, ensuring they effectively support business needs and scalability.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage AP and AR processes to maintain efficient cash flow and accurate record-keeping.
- Financial Controls: Design, implement, and maintain rigorous financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to align financial operations with strategic goals.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Strategic Thinking: A proactive approach to identifying financial opportunities and challenges, with a focus on driving business success.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in managing and improving finance technology systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Detail Orientation: A strong commitment to maintaining precision and quality in financial reporting and processes.
- Leadership: The ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Experience: 3+ PQE in financial management, with demonstrated experience in global financial reporting, AP/AR management, and financial controls.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with international finance regulations and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Netsiute financial management software and tools, with a focus on automation and scalabiliy
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a global SaaS software company.
- Track record of successfully implementing and managing financial technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of UK and international accounting standards.
- Competitive Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 gross per annum, depending on specific experience and qualifications relevant to the role.
