Job Description

  • Overall management of the finance team.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Overseeing of the internal and external audit processes.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Presenting and reporting accurate and timely financial information of the company to the board and all stakeholders. This includes working on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting organisational revenue/expense reporting.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Responsible for the company’s overall financial health. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
  • Monitor banking activities of the organisation.
  • Ensure adequate cash flow in place to meet the organisation’s needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies – need to identify, assess, and respond to ongoing and emerging risks to the organisation by ensuring compliance with the growing number of regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
  • Preparation of the Board Pack, attending Board meetings as required and provide useful/necessary financial inputs on various parameters.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • An ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification (or working towards one)
  • 5 Years Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing/food processing industry is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
