Finance Assistant – rotational programme across all areas of finance

We’re seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. This unique role provides a rotational programme, allowing you to gain comprehensive exposure to various finance functions while building a strong foundation for your career.

What you’ll be doing:

Throughout your rotations, you’ll work across key finance areas, including:

Accounts payable and receivable:

  • process invoices and payments accurately and on time

  • manage customer and supplier accounts, ensuring reconciliations and queries are resolved

  • assist in cash flow monitoring and reporting

Payroll:

  • support the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations

  • handle payroll-related queries and maintain accurate records

Management accounting and reporting:

  • assist in budget preparation and forecasting

  • help prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis

  • contribute to financial planning and support strategic decision-making

Financial reporting and compliance:

  • participate in the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors as needed

Finance analytics:

  • leverage data analytics tools to identify trends, improve financial insights, and support decision-making

  • collaborate on the development of dashboards and reports to provide real-time financial performance metrics

  • analyse large data sets to uncover opportunities for cost savings and process optimisations

What we’re looking for:

  • a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or relevant experience

  • a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance, with a desire to learn and grow

  • excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders

  • proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an aptitude for learning new systems
