Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a new challenge?
We're seeking a Finance Analyst to be a key business partner to the Waltham Site Director, driving financial governance and control while providing critical support for operational and strategic decisions.
What are we looking for?

Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Relevant experience in finance.

Excellent communication and partnering skills.

Strong knowledge of financial systems, particularly SAP.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience in financial modelling.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Site Director to manage operational costs, working closely with budget holders to set budgets, create forecasts, analyse spending, and address variances. You will be a trusted advisor, challenging and guiding stakeholders to explore new opportunities.

Generate regular performance reports, tracking risks, opportunities, and cost trends. Provide a consolidated view of spend and present period results to the Waltham leadership team.

Identify and implement strategies for improving cost management (e.g., zero-based budgeting).

Conduct proactive analysis of costs, challenging the status quo and suggesting corrective actions where needed.

Provide financial input and analysis for European and Global presentations.

Collaborate with SDx and European finance teams to manage centrally owned costs and gain insights into risks and opportunities.

Manage period-end reporting, overhead submissions, and analysis of payroll costs, working closely with payroll accountants and treasury teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Offer decision support, financial modelling, and recommendations for strategic initiatives impacting Waltham, ensuring clear communication of financial implications to stakeholders.

Oversee Waltham controls, working with the Control and Governance Manager to enhance governance practices and implement new controls.
