Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the respective product portfolio (existing and new products) including commercialization, market growth, profitability tracking and go-to-market plans

  • Implement product and pricing strategies (NRM) in alignment with Regional / Global Marketing

  • Based on data analytics, understand consumer/shopper insights competitive trends and key portfolio benefits to best position our branded products to serve consumers. Provide constant feed back to Regional and Global Teams

  • Recommend go-to-market trade/shopper marketing elements including retailer product assortment, pricing, and merchandising (both, in-store and online)

  • Support the local Head of Marketing in developing and implementing Media (PAID Digital and non digital campaigns ), following the communication strategy based on brand objectives

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop Customer selling stories (both national and account specific) and coordinate Customers line reviews to help drive top line sales, awareness, and trial of products for customer shelf sets

  • Control the A&P budget of the assigned brand/product category portfolio, ensuring no overspend and key promotions are well managed, providing a clear ROI on all monies spent

  • Orchestrate the Digital customer journey (PAID, OWNED, SHARED, EARNED) from planning to rollout in relevant channels of the Digital funnel until conversion to deliver against KPIs

  • Track products P&L and product Gross Margin mix by Category

  • Foster strong customer care support & best practices to maintain a high level of consumer satisfaction Live LEARN approach: Listen; Empathize; Apologize; Re act; Now

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

  • Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, MBA preferred

  • Minimum 3 years job experience as a Marketing generalist – Consumer Packaged Goods preferred

  • Experience in supervising outside vendors and agencies

  • Experience and proven record in digital marketing, media management & SEO

Specific Knowledge

  • up to date market and customer knowledge

  • use and understanding of IRI / Nielsen data and any relevant market analytics tools

  • deep understanding of KPIs and P&L

  • Brand Management, Category Management, and Project Management

  • SAP

  • strong competence in Microsoft Office suite

Specific Skills

  • strong business communication (written and oral) & presentation skills

  • leadership skills, ability to think and act holistic and critical

  • negotiation skills

  • strong in interpersonal relationship management, working in cross-functional teams and matrix environments

  • Team player, able to work in mixed teams across different functions
