AVP Sales – Europe Division Purification Technologies

Europe (Preferred location: Major European business hub; willingness to travel across Europe is required)

Purification Technologies Global Sales VP
Responsibilities
- Assume direct P&L responsibility for Purification Technologies. Deliver outsized business growth and market share increase to build Ecolab to be the #1 position in Europe.
- Formulate growth strategies
- Develop and solidify executive relationship with C suite global and local customers.
- Demonstrate talent management leadership to develop strong talent bench.
- Identify and rally resources and support within and outside the region needed to support strategic commercial development.
- Ensure effectiveness of our global matrix through strong collaboration and communication with global leadership. Establish improved structures and processes, serve as a role model in demonstrating collaborative behaviours and a boundary-less mindset.
- Strategic/Business: Develop outsized growth strategy to achieve leading share position in Europe for purification technology customer segments. Aiming for doubling digit business growth rate by leveraging global innovation strategies.
- Organizational: Manage Europe sales team. Cultivate a “pipeline” of people with potential for promotion and consistently move them into challenging roles. Support belonging, diversity and inclusion culture.

- Proven track record of leading and building a high performing sales organization and consistently delivering superior business results.
- Demonstrated success in performing under high organizational complexity
- Strong strategic thought leadership.
- Demonstrate clear insight into Europe market opportunities
- Ability to prioritize commercial development and resource investment that align with market trends.
- Drive change through great organization/people insights and build a highly engaged and high-performance sales team.
- A well-rounded and learning agile business leader who is business and customer savvy and results oriented.
- Needs to be a global thinker who possesses the ability to critically assess alternative opportunities and exercise proper business judgment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales leadership roles
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex, multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of European market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of developing talent and succession planning
- English fluency required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the ion exchange industry
